At times the simplest of snacks that takes less then five minutes to make taste so divine!
Ingredients:
– 2 T rice flour
– 2 T red chili powder
– 1 t methi (fenugreek) seeds, ground fine
– 1/2t garlic paste
– 1/2t ginger paste [rml_read_more]
– 4-5 tender okra, washed and patted dry
Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with enough water to make a thin paste. Adjust salt. Using a mandolin, thinly slice okra. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the slices till golden brown. I served them with freshly cut wild tomato flowers to cut the richness of the oil but you can try diced cucumbers or a quick squeeze of lemon juice. Goes very well with beer! 🙂
