You also won’t believe this is not chicken! Seitan, or “wheat meat” is very close to real meat in texture, and believe it or not, has MORE protein per gram! Because it is #plantbased , it has zero cholesterol, zero saturated fat, and is high in vitamins and minerals like iron, calcium and magnesium. And it is a great vehicle for delicious dishes like this Assamese flavour bomb! Stay tuned for more #plantbasedprotein dishes?

Potato Stir-fry aka Batata Upkari – Inherently Vegan!

Inherently #vegan Konkani food series (there are so many!) — number one is a family favourite: Batata upkari, aka potato stir fry. And please don’t be afraid of the potato- remember that it is full of healthy nutrients including fibre, vitamin C, vitamin B6, potassium , and believe it or not, a great source of #plantbasedprotein!
