Corona virus (aka covid-19) has turned the world upside down! It has not only brought questions about staying safe, but also put a distance between the doctor and the patient. In addition, many of us have questions about the disease- who is safe? who is not? how do I protect myself and my family? what if I have an elderly parent with me? Too many questions that the media doesn’t help answer.
During this pandemic, we feel that there is a need for some real, honest answers to allay fears. So we are offering our free consultation on this topic. Knowledge is power. If you know facts about this virus and how it spreads, chances are you will be less anxious and better able to help protect yourself and your loved ones.
Why are we offering it free?
Because we feel that is the least we can do during this lock-down or “stay at home” period.
Who are we?
We are a husband-wife team. I am a doctor that has a deep understanding of infectious diseases and have worked with corona virus patients. I have specialized in two areas simultaneously. I’m board certified in Internal Medicine as well as in Pediatrics. I completed my residency training at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Rainbow Babies Hospital in Cleveland and the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. I have also worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital and currently work at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
My husband, is what they call a Research Pathologist. He also graduated from the University of Maryland Medical Center. He has a certification in Epidemiology (a study of the spread of diseases) from Johns Hopkins University. Till recently, he was the Director of Marketing at NIH where most of the vaccines, drugs, treatments and tests that we use worldwide, are invented. It is the largest medical research center in the world. He has worked with the top leading scientists from NIH and CDC that are in the limelight today. He has authored many patents and several research papers in medicine. He was regularly invited to the White House and has spoken at the European Parliament in Brussels. So he knows the topic of infectious diseases and can definitely help you get better informed about this Coronavirus.
